TikTok Likes is an app created by the Chinese it is a social networking service based on the sharing of dubbing videos. It was based on a Beijing network technology company and has been owned by a company name known as Bytedance and it was founded by Zhang Yiming in 2012. This application is used to express their talents of the people by the way of dance, lip-sync, a comedy by expressing their talents in the videos which are of three to fifteen seconds. The Byte Dance company first introduced this app in September 2016with the name of Douyin into the Chinese market.

Why there is a sudden ban in India?
There was a sudden clash between the Chinese and the Indian troops along with the disputed territory in the border of Ladakh. So the ministry of electronics and information technology on 2020 June 29 they banned 58 Chinese application along with the TikTok.
The government of India said that the verdict to ban Chinese applications is to protect privacy and data of one billion three hundred million citizens and to stop the stealing of information technologically by the unauthorized method so to stop this technological stealing they banned the Chinese application.
